Dharamshala: The Department of Health conducted a webinar aimed for the hospital quality assurance on 27 March 2024. The webinar was designed for the newly appointed hospital administrators spread across Tibetan hospitals in India.  Delivering the opening remarks, Secretary Dawa Tsultrim of the Department stressed out the importance in prioritizing quality services and responsiveness to patient’s call for care and addressing the needs. Furthermore, he emphasized the hospital administrators in respecting the patients’ privacy, thereby fortifying the hospital administration.

The OSM program coordinator of the Department Mr.Tsering conducted a detailed session on hospital quality assurance. He introduced the Department’s guidelines on hospital quality standards and measurable elements, in addition to the hospital quality assurance framework, quality measurement systems, assessment protocols and hospital management. Throughout the virtual session, an interactive Q & A segment was incorporated to engage and encourage a productive discussion with the virtual attendees.
