TMS enrollment for 2023-2024 has started since 1st January 2023 and enrollment/registration is being done at the Tibetan settlement offices and Tibetan Primary Health Centers. Only Greenbook and a small passport-size photo are needed for registration. This time, TMS has increased its benefit amount from 120,000 to 150,000 rupees for a family and 60,000 to 75,000 for an individual category. 

Special consideration is being provided to the monks and nuns, differently abled person’s families, new arrivals from Tibet since 1994 and destitute etc in their TMS annual contributions under the USAID subsidized category.

A benefit period is from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 for a year and it can be renewed every year. This year, TMS has introduced new health benefits for COVID-19 and newborn children etc. Settlement Officers and Health Executive Secretaries are doing their best at their respective places to cover more people in the TMS for better health care services.
