The Central COVID-19 Emergency Task-Force continues the monitoring program at Ravangla

Ravangla: The members of Central COVID-19 Emergency Task-Force led by Mr. Palden Dhondup, Secretary of Department of Health/Chairman of the Central COVID-19 Emergency Task-Force, Mr. Dawa Phunkyi, Chief Administrator of Tibetan Delek Hospital and Dr. Tenzin Tsundue, medical officer of Delek Hospital are on a visit to Tibetan Settlements in North-East India.

On 24th August, they reached Ravangla Tibetan Settlement continuing the inspection of preparedness of settlements concerning a possible third wave of COVID-19. Ravangla Kunphenling Settlement Office led by Dorjee Tsering received the team with a warm reception and greetings. Post that, they briefed their current situation and the preparedness followed by a meeting with settlement COVID-19 Task-Force members. The local team updated their current situation, shared their concerns and difficulties to the visiting team.
