The renovation of three overhead water tanks, sponsored by PRM USA, has been successfully completed to address the current water supply and hygiene challenges in the area.
Initially water tanks, serving approximately 280 households in Camp 2, had suffered severe damage with numerous cracks causing significant water leakage and inefficient distribution. This resulted in substantial water wastage and persistent shortage for residents.
The renovation project focused on restoring the tanks’ long-term durability and functionality. Improvements included thorough cleaning , structural repairs, and fresh painting to enhance protection and durability.
The renovated tanks will now provide safe, hygienic water to the community, ensuring proper water distribution and reduced wastage.
