New drinking Water Pipeline installed in, Odisha

The drinking water pipeline installation project which began on 15th September 2024, was successfully completed on 17th March 2025. Sponsored by Germans Aid for Tibetan (GAT) through the Department, the project addresses ongoing water supply issues caused by aging and damaged pipes.

Originally funded by the European Community, the water tank at Camp No. 3 has served residents for over two decades. However, recent problems with the old pipeline prompted the installation of a new system. The project included trench digging, pipeline installation, and connection to water sources. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure a strong and reliable water supply for the community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to GAT for their invaluable support, ensuring a safer and more reliable water supply for the residents of Camp No. 3.
