Mundgod DTR Hospital successfully arranges refill of oxygen cylinders

Mundgod:The catastrophic second wave of Covid-19 has put the whole country in precarious conditions resulting shortage of oxygen supply in the entire India. The DTR Mundgod Hospital on facing the shortage of oxygen, on 5th May, hired one vehicle and sent two containers of 200 Litre capacity for refilling oxygen at Hubli. The staff had waited patiently for six long hours to get the refill but in the end, they left with empty containers due to acute shortages.
And the very next day, Mundgod Tibetan Settlement Officer(TSO) Lhakpa Tsering la and Executive Secretary Ngawang Thupten la of DTR Hospital approached Mundgod Taluk Magistrate on the matter. Thankfully he has considered and helped them to get two containers refilled in another refill center.
On 6th May, TSO Lhakpa Tsering la and Executive Secretary of DTR Ngawang Thupten la went to Hubli Karnataka Industrial Gas Pvt Ltd & met authorities to discuss the current Covid-19 situation in Mundgod Tibetan Colony and appealed him to support for uninterrupted oxygen supply for our hospital as they are taking care of 51 active cases. As appealed he promised to extend his kind support to the hospital on oxygen refilling supply. A small memento was handed over to Manager Benjamin for his service.
