IDG Conducts A Scoping Study on USAID Programs

USAID commissioned a scoping study that focuses on the Tibetan Community in India and Nepal. The study aims to provide USAID with an insightful analysis of programming gaps and recommendations for future initiatives. For this task, USAID has hired the International Development Group (IDG), and the study is significant for the next TSRR grant. The IDG team met with the Secretary, section heads, and program officers of the Department of Health on December 12 regarding this study.

The outcome of this study will significantly influence how USAID supports and allocates funding in the future. The IDG team will focus on three primary areas: Strengthening economic growth and livelihood opportunities, preserving Tibetan culture, and enhancing social resilience.
