Health Secretary’s Official visit to Hunsur, Tibetan settlement concluded successfully

Mr. Jampa Phuntsok, Health Secretary, and Ms. Tenzin Chondhen, South-Central dealing staff, paid an official visit to Hunsur Tibetan Settlement on November 25th and 27th, 2025, respectively.
The visit’s primary objective was to carry out the contractor selection process for the Ngoenga Integration Home for Elders with Disabilities project’s impending construction. In the presence of the settlement officer, architects, and Settlement Project Committee members, the evaluation and finalization procedure took place in the Settlement Office. In order to guarantee clarity on the implementation strategy, technical requirements, timing, resource allocation, and general compatibility of the suggested approach with the project’s objectives, extensive discussions were held with the contractor after the selection.

During the site visit, architects gave a thorough layout presentation of the project site, including site dimensions, detailed drawings, zoning concerns, etc. The site circumstances, design requirements, and duties to be performed during the construction project were explained to the contractor.

Monitoring visits to several current projects within the settlement marked the conclusion of the visit. In order to guarantee timely and effective completion of work, progress was reviewed, difficulties were discussed with local camp leaders, and suggestions were given.
