Dharamshala: Secretary Dawa Tsultrim from the Department of Health, CTA visited Bir and Chauntra Tibetan Settlements on 15 June 2023 as part of the department’s assessment visit to health facilities in the region.

During his visit, the Secretary met with Tibetan Settlement Officers, the President of the Local Tibetan Assembly, the President of the BTS Society and the Executive Secretary of the local Tibetan Primary Health Centre to discuss the issues concerning the shortage of staff quarters at the health centre. He also visited the local clinic and ongoing project sites of the health department in the settlements. The Health Secretary was accompanied by the Chief Health Project Officer Tsering during the visit.
