28.09.2026, Dharamsala: The Department conducted a comprehensive basic health screening program for 280 nuns from India and Nepal at Lower TCV, Dharamshala Today. The nuns had gathered for the month-long Nuns Jang Gunchoe, organized by the Jang Gunchoe Organizing Committee.
The health screening program included Complete Blood Count (CBC), Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test, Hepatitis B screening (spot test), Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, and blood pressure screening. The checkup was carried out by a team from the department along with nurses and a laboratory technician from Delek Hospital, to assess the general health status of the participants and to facilitate early detection of potential health concerns. The program was funded by the HHDLCT.
