A group of Department of Health senior staff led by Health Kalon Mr Choekyong Wangchuk along with TPiE Member & Director Mr Dawa Phunkyi, Tibetan Delek Hospital attended the Multispecialty Medical Camp cum Children’s Festival at Gandhi Ground, Nagrota Bhawan, Kangra on 27th July 2016.

This annual event of medical camp cum festival that coincides with birth anniversary of Shri G S Bali, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister in the Government of Himachal Pradesh had a gathering of thousands of people from in and around Nagrota, where not only medical examination in different disciplines were conducted but also equipment like eye glasses, hearing-aids and walking sticks were distributed.

At the formal function, eminent figures like Shri Suraj Singh Pathania, MPP & Power Minister in the Himachal Govt, Shri G S Bali himself, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, MD Himachal Road Transport and MLAs were present, where Health Kalon presided over as the Chief Guest and was given a warm felicitation by Shri G S Bali.

In the public address, Health Kalon on behalf of Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay extended hearty wishes to Shri G S Bali on his birthday and lauded his services to the needy people in the region by providing such medical help. Honourable Health Kalon further appreciated his support and relation with the Tibetan people living in this region.

At the end, Shri G S Bali presented memento to all the guests and gave a valedictory note.
