From October 13 to 24, 2025, OSM Program Coordinator Mr. Tsering from the Department of Health visited Tibetan Primary Health Centers in Miao, Tezu, Delhi, and Dekyiling settlement as part of the ongoing Health Facility Quality Assurance Program.

The visit aimed to ensure that community health centers continue to deliver quality and accessible healthcare services. He reviewed the centers’ infrastructure, governance, service delivery, and staffing, and also observed completed health-related projects. During the visit, he met with the respective Settlement Officers and hospital administrators to discuss current challenges and emerging needs.

A short training session was also conducted for health staff on strengthening the relationship between health workers and patients to promote effective communication and patient-centered care.
