Dharamshala: In partnership with Karma Healthcare, the Health Department’s Telemedicine and Health Information System (HIS) dealing staff, Ms Pema Tsering, successfully wrapped off a three-day telemedicine session throughout Sonada, Ravangla from December 6 to 9. This was followed by a one-day HIS monitoring session in Gangtok.

The primary objective of this programme for the nurses’ training and supervision was to prepare, oversee and efficiently carry out telemed and HIS initiatives in their particular areas. These training sessions will assist the nurses in maintaining and entering data accurately, which is a crucial component of comprehensive health records. During the final Q&A, the participants’ questions and concerns were addressed. The program was funded by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM).
