Dharamsala: Health Department held training on Health Information System (HIS) at Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics on 17th March 2022.
The Department of Health (DoHe), CTA implemented DHIS2 (District Health Information System) with the goal of gathering health data from all segments of the Tibetan population for comprehensive health information.
The goal of the training is to introduce DHIS2 and strengthen the capacity of health care workers there to create a robust, reliable and efficient health information system for collecting health data.
Introduction to data collection and health information systems, making basic disease diagnoses by health care personnel, and the mechanisms for sending collected data for analyses and dissemination of information to stakeholders are among the subjects covered.
Currently, there are a total of 29 clinics under DoHe in India implementing DHIS2.
