Dehradun: The Health Department’s Deputy Secretary and north zone head, Pema Youdon, along with chief accountant Tenzin Palkyi, paid a three-day monitoring visit to settlements, Tibetan health care centres and schools located in Dekyiling and Herbertpur from January 29 to 31. This visit covers the following areas: settlements like Tsering Dhonden, Gephelling, TWC Rajpur, Doeguyulgyelling, Khera Camp and Balluwala; schools such as Ngoenga and the Tibetan Private Industrial Training Institute Selaqui (ITI); health care centres in Dekyiling and clinics in Lakhanwala and Khera Camp.
This official visit was intended to assess the current and upcoming projects of FY 2024–2025 under Ngoenga School and settlements under Dekyiling and Herbertpur, as well as to examine the ground realities of some of the completed WASH projects.
