Bir: A free medical camp was held on the 26th of September at Tibetan Primary Health Center, Bir in collaboration with Fortis Hospital Kangra. The camp had three specialists. They are composed of a Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist, and a general surgeon if anyone needs counseling on surgery. A total of 150 patients, including few Indians from neighboring communities were benefitted.
Fortis Hospital, Kangra provided Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test and Electrocardiogram (ECG) was done to all the patients with cardiac-related diseases and symptoms. Free medicines were provided as per the doctor’s prescription. Tibetan Khampa Industrial Society Bir & Chauntra funded the expenses of other Lab tests, X-rays, and lunch for the entire camp.
