From August 2025 to January 2026, the Department of Health, Central Tibetan Administration, held free eye camps in eight Tibetan communities in North India, providing comprehensive eye exams to 388 individuals.
33 patients underwent minor eye procedures, 158 received essential medications, and 201 individuals received free prescription glasses.
With generous funding from The Tibet Fund, Tibetan health centers collaborated with private eye hospitals and ophthalmologists in carrying out the initiative.
