The Department of Health conducted a health facility quality assurance audit at four health care centers from 26 April to 8 May 2024. The audits aimed to enhance patient care quality and optimize resource utilization.

Mr.Tsering, Optimal Service Model Program officer of the Health Department, conducted assessments at Tibetan Health Centre in Delhi, Menlha Hospital in Odisha, Tibetan Health clinic in Tezu and Tibetan Primary Health Centre in Miao. His evaluation covered governance, infrastructure, access, patient care, infection control, human resource management, medicine management, service quality, information management system and outcomes at the health centers.

Mr.Tsering also engaged with settlement officers, hospital administrators and field health staff to inform his observation, including good practices and areas for future improvement.
