Dharamshala: Department of Health (DoHe) held a workshop for 11 accountants of Tibetan Voluntary Health Association (TVHA) from 1 – 10 June at Tibetan Reception Center after more than three years of gap in between.

During the ten-day-long workshop, speakers instructed their respective topics, namely Additional Secretary Thinley Chomphel (Office of Audit General) on accounting, Off. Sup. Tenzin Palkyi on FCRA, Legal Tax, Deputy Secretary Namgyal Gedun (Dept. of Finance) on budgeting, Doric Multimedia Pvt Ltd on Tally to brush up and upgrade accounting as well as to improve accounting skills & budgeting since some of TVHA accountants are freshly recruited. Furthermore, the participants had an interaction session with the Department of Health project officers on the final day of workshop.
