Under the departments Tuberculosis elimination program, TB Active Case Finding (ACF) campaign was successfully conducted in Mundgod Settlement from 10th August to 9th September 2025. The initiative was led by TB In-charge Nurse Tenzin Lhazay, and team who carried out the initiative with visits to key community areas including monasteries, schools, nunnery and camps. A total of 3,343 individuals participated in the TB screening process, where 889 individuals underwent further investigations based on initial screening. 2 individuals resulted positive for TB and they were promptly admitted to the isolation ward for further treatment and care. The initiative is funded under the TESC program.
