Shimla: Mother and Child, Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Adolescence (MCHRMNA) section of the Department of Health staff Ms. Kelsang Chodon visited the Shimla Tibetan settlement for three days in connection with the anemia project under the MCHRMNA desk along with Ms. Pema Tsering.

The visit was associated with the MCHRMNA anemia project, and on April 21–23, 2023, coordinators screened STS Shimla schoolgirls to check for anemia in blood. The programme also included a health awareness lecture on anemia and the wellbeing of adolescents for the school girls as well as a public overview of the RMNCH-A programme.

A total of 23 girls were screened at the relevant school.
