The Department of Health’s Health Information System (HIS) Desk conducted a training and monitoring visit to eight clinics in Northeast India from January 27 to February 11 2026.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the nurses’ proficiency and consistency when using desktop systems and Android devices for data entry and reporting. The nurses received training and challenges that had been difficult to address online were fixed with practical, in-person assistance. Clinic nurses’ confidence, data quality, and system usage were strengthened as a result.
