After his visit to Bylakuppe, he continued his official visit to Mundgod Tibetan settlement from 3rd to 7th August,2017.

During his visit, he paid prime importance in bringing awareness on three guiding principals of kashag, five –fifty strategy & brief introduction and activities of 7 departments of CTA. He particularly gave a detailed account of Health department & its various projects.

He visited different Health Centers and Clinics (Gaden Jangtse and Shartse, Drepung Loseling and Gomang, DTR Health Hospital, MenTsekhang) to overview & understand the condition and facilities available at those health centers.

He also visited Old people’s Home, Settlement Office, Local Tibetan Assembly office, Regional Tibetan Freedom Movement office and other Non Governmental organisations (Shiwatso and Gyalwe Sungrab Libraries).

During his stay, range of health department’s projects such as construction of pipelines and overhead tank at the Camps were thoroughly monitored. He also attended the enthronement ceremony of 104th Kyabje Gaden Tri Rinpoche Jesun Lobsang Tenzin on 4th August 2017 and later he attended the 50th Annual General body meeting of Doeguling primary agriculture cooperative society Ltd.

He also held different meetings with Health committee members of the Settlement & with DTR Hospital Staff to inspire them to work for the betterment of health services and mentioned important role of health committees/staff in the settlement to improve overall health condition of the people.

On his final day at the settlement, he took out time to visit S.T.S. and C.S.T Mundgod where headdressed and aware students about the current health status and challenges faced by Tibetan community these day and importance of preventive measures to protect oneself and their families. He further focuses on preventing oneself from communicable and life style related diseases.

He also graciously listened to the problems and suggestions given by the public and committees, assured & guarante

ed to work and meet those requirements.
