Training for staff Nurse on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) at Pune

Department of Health, CTA participated in the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers, curriculum as per the IPG (International Programme Guidelines) of the AHA (American Heart Association) conducted by  Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Pune in two batches. i.e from 30th June to 2nd July and 7th to 9th July 2016, respectively.

Department, in total, sent 11 staff Nurse to participate in the Healthcare Provider Course. The participants are from the Tibetan Hospitals/Health Centers, Mundgod, Bylakuppe, Hunsur, Mainpat, Bir, and Delhi. The fees and other expenses was generously sponsored by SOIR-IM, Sweden.

The training covered both theory and practical, followed by written and practical exams. Videos clipping relevant to the course was also presented for better understanding. All the instructors were well experienced, enthusiastic and have motivated the trainees.

As per the feedback received from the participants, the training was very informative and effective. They think It would definitely them improve their daily practice.

We are planning to provide similar training to North-eastern health staff in the coming months.
